I made it back to I-8 about 90 miles form S.D.
That's when it hit me how tired I was. I found the first rest stop and tried to take a nap. For some reason it always seems easier to fall asleep WHILE I'm driving instead of when I'm parked.
I had 8 hours to kill legally, but after about 8 minutes I decided to just tough it out and get home to a nice comfy bed.
