Some people I know make the strange assumption that if you're always looking through the camera you aren't "experiencing" the... experience... I guess:) It also seems that the mere presence of a camera is enough to fuck up everyone else's experience. That's all bullshit of course. I shouldn't say that because I'm not one to make blanket statements like that. I understand that everyone has a different view on things. We'd be a pretty fucking boring bunch if we didn't. However, you can't make all of the people happy all of the time. So I do my best to not step on any toes. Luckily that's pretty easy to do. People seem to like me and my camera. They even go out of their way sometimes to do interesting things for my camera. I'd even go so far as to say that my camera is a catalyst for new "experiences" for some people. AND they even get something to remember it by. As far as me being outside of the "experience" when I'm behind the camera, that IS bullshit. I've had a camera in my had since I was about 17. That's HALF my life at this point. To say it's an extension of me is kind of cliche, but it would pretty much hit the spot. Why am I ranting about this now? I don't know. I meant to do it a few days ago after one of the predictable bitch fests cropped up on a message board I frequent. I guess I'm a little slow these days. Canon EOS 20D
